Make a change, or make many changes. I would love to make a difference in this world in so many ways. I am just a nobody in this world unfortunately, and many of my attempts fail due to others not wanting to make a change themselves. Between the starving and dying people in this world with no money, homes, food, health care, family, etc, mixed together with so much hatred, disrespect, greed, and selfishness, it’s a world of disaster. With a world full of bad, good shines through, too. One of my previous posts, “There’s What in The Water!?”, goes into detail about the news being full of nothing but the disastrous world we live in, but recently, I’ve been seeing videos of people stepping in to help strangers off the street, such as the guy and child under a car on two separate occasions. That is HUGE, absolutely huge of people in this day and age.
I don’t ever plan on being able to actually change the world, but I would love to help as many people as humanly possible, it’s what my passion oddly is. I say oddly because I hate people more than anything. People are rude and crude, and it disgusts me. I’m a lifeguard, a volunteer firefighter, and a volunteer emergency medical technician; I think that’s a pretty good start. Recently, I’ve tried to start a fund/collection for animals in need with a Facebook page, but have had no interest/donations. I won’t let that failure stop me. My next attempt towards a positive, and hopefully trendy movement came from a video my friend made and posted on Youtube and Facebook; She made the video to use for a pageant she was entering. With her consent, here is her video:
As I was watching the video, it surely inspired me. It inspired me in two ways.
1. She displays a lot of strength and doesn’t have life easy, but makes the best of it and is a happy, beautiful and successful person despite what life has handed her.
2. Gave me an idea to make a video of myself to also inspire people and perhaps they too will make a video, too, and so on.
I think it would be so cool for people to make a video like she has for many reasons. Firstly, it would allow each person to search themselves to find out who they really are and is important enough to them to put in the video. It can give themselves a better understanding of who they are, what makes them who they are, as well as giving others a glimpse of that, and who knows, maybe learn something they never knew. The videos are a great way to inspire others like Ivory’s video did for me.
I would love to see this take off–People making videos like her’s and posting it on Facebook. If I see enough of them being made, I would create a Youtube account with my own video so other’s can share theirs on my account. It could help so many people. Maybe someone is feeling down and that life’s not taking it easy on them. They could go on that account, click on someone’s video, see what struggles they are going through, and feel better about their own and be inspired to make the best out of what’s been given to them. It could also go the other way. Perhaps people just want to click on the videos to make them smile. A person’s video could be filled with tons of joy and life-changing experiences that make others smile or compelled to try new things, or just whatever!
One last reason why this idea is pretty neat, it could be something you look back on years from now. One could see how much they have changed or stayed the same, and what things have left their lives, and what new things have entered.
Whether this takes off or not, I still would love to make my own video and definitely suggest others to do so as well.
~*Change, happiness, and smiles are contagious and like dominoes–It takes one person to start the affect before it spreads*~
