In honor of going a year without fast food, I’ve decided to perhaps inspire people towards the light out of the greasy, mystery meat tunnel.
By not eating fast food, I know exactly what I am eating and what truly is in it. Everyday, my body feels and looks healthier. I have more energy, I’m happier, and have better mind clarity.
YES, fast food is cheap due to it’s 100% “beef” and “chicken” products, and we are all on a budget these days. It’s also hard being a night owl and having just local fast food joints open near you. After a while you learn to resist the prices, convenience, and temptations. Years of consuming all of the sugar and chemicals, it’s hard for the body to stop, and it’s an addiction. Trust me when I say it is well worth skipping out on buying yourself ‘wants‘ and putting that money towards what the body really needs, and setting extra time aside to get a worthy meal for yourself.
I won’t go into the true horrors of what is actually used in making the food served at your restaurants, but just think about it yourself or get a gagbag ready and search Google. I must say though, I giggle every time I see a Taco Bell commercial talking about their 100% “beef”. I always say, “Yes, 100% beef mixed in with 99.9% shit”.
If you would like to lessen or hopefully cut-out fast food all together (not talking about Subway, c’mon now), then hit like, comment, hit five stars, whatever, and show your pledge somehow ;D I would love to see how many people are with me on my wish towards a healthier nation/world. Spread it around and see if your friends are in, too!
