This is a fun recipe I tried last month, but never got around to posting. Basically, its a giant smore with cookie dough! YUM!
So Here goes!
What you need:
-Honey Graham Crackers (next time I’m trying cinnamon, because I found the ending results needing a boost in taste believe it or not)
-Homemade or a roll of packaged chocolate chip cookie dough (large tube)
-A Pack of mini marshmallows
-Spray butter if you so choose (I didn’t use and had no issues because I had enough room along the edges, so nothing stuck)
-Chocolate chips or discs, or even bars (I used milk chocolate discs)
Align a large baking dish with graham crackers. (I broke them in half first, then stuck them back together, which helped a little bit when cutting the end result to serve)
Measure a sheet of wax paper to match the graham crackers and lay out on a counter top
Step 3:Evenly spread the cookie dough to cover the entire sheet of wax paper, then flip over on top of the graham crackers, carefully aligning it, push down very carefully all over, then peal off the wax paper.
Place in over at 350? Sure. Try that. I always wing it with temperatures and measurements. Go with what’s on the cookie dough package if the pressure of choosing a temp eats away at ya.-Monitor your creation. Take it out once it’s not completely backed, but starting to becoming a solid, squishy mass.
Step 5:Add choclate chips (I used discs because they were significantly easier!) ontop evenly everywhere. Don’t be stingy! They will start to melt as you’re adding them, that’s what you want, don’t be alarmed.
Marshmallow frenzy!! WOO! Go crazy throwing those oh so yummy, delightfully squishy, and nummy little white pieces of joy all over the ooey gooey chocolate! (*Pictures The Lorax movie in my head, Marshmellow scene)
Stick it back in the oven (I kept it at the same temp) until the marshmallows start to brown at the tops! Imagine you’re making a smore over a fire; you want it to look like that in the oven!
